Subject: Coach Dunlap and BZ are similar in alot of respects
Posted by: RoadRunnerBaseBall on Wed May 7 2008 3:40:12 PM
Message:

Both are X's and O's gurus and very good teachers of the game. And
to be honest, personality wise, both are subtle, not necessarily the
most charismatic and no nonsense...The one glaring difference, Coach
Dunlap has built a college program (albeit at a lower level) were
with Bz that remains to be seen, but he has the oppotunity to build
here in boulder.

I think CU could have done alot worse that Mike Dunlap, but
everything happens for a reason.

Current Thread:

Dunlap tp replace Lute when he steps down?  --  BUFFjunkie   Wed May 7 2008 3:15:56 PM
Wow, falling into that job would be great  --  Blitzkrieg   Wed May 7 2008 3:17:29 PM

I would also say in diff category that Bzz was a head coach in the NBA  --  Colo Spgs Buff   Thu May 8 2008 4:46:02 PM

Did you play for him?  --  Blitzkrieg   Thu May 8 2008 3:14:41 AM
It's funny how quite a few here were saying he wasn't qualified for the CU job **  --  BUFFjunkie   Wed May 7 2008 3:20:47 PM
I'm still not convinced he is. Which is tougher ...  --  Bisonic   Wed May 7 2008 3:48:48 PM
So he is not good enough for CU but good enough for AZ and the Bulls  --  CatchtheBzzz   Wed May 7 2008 10:22:59 PM
It's not like he's taking over those programs  --  Colo Spgs Buff   Wed May 7 2008 11:09:25 PM
He was a candidate for the Bulls head job not an assistant  --  CatchtheBzzz   Thu May 8 2008 12:31:28 AM

Dunlap will do great wherever he lands  --  Hoops4ever   Thu May 8 2008 8:19:48 AM
I don't know how successful he would be as an NBA coach...  --  ScotchBuff   Thu May 8 2008 10:18:55 AM
