I can understand Patton and other coaches wanting Jeremy to
transfer. He is super talented, NBA athleticism, unselfish,
shooter, etc...
But as a fan who is interested in seeing this program move forward
(unlike Bisonic/Sweller) I believe they are truly not looking out
for HIS best long term or short term interests.
See note to Jeremy:
Jeremy,
As a huge fan I want to share a couple of thoughts... First,
whomever (if anyone besides other coaches with alterior motives) is
giving you advice to transfer or leave CU, I TRULY BELIEVE that they
are not looking out for your best interests.
You can be one of the pillars of the new basketball foundation of
the CU basketball program and help turn it into a Big 12 powerhouse.
You have paid the price (sitting all last year) and are in position
to take advantage of all your hard work and patience in the best
basketball conference in the country! There are vary few players in
the entire world that could even imagine being in the position that
you are in - please don't throw that away.
I can understand all the other opportunities and alternatives that
you have in front of you that may look good but they are all unknown
(and I'm sure your family wants you close cause you are a great
person and are loved). BUT, who knows what God's plan has in store
for you and where it will lead you. Consider that you have worked
hard to earn your position, you have bought the ticket, you have
paid the price now jump on the CU hoops airline and let's see where
the ride will take you!
We are cheering for you whatever your decision but don't change your
flight!
