The CBI uses the same criteria to select their teams as those used
by the NCAA and NIT -- overall and conference records and late-
season play, but they also are quoted in articles that they "have no
plans to limit the field to teams with .500 records and better but
we don't anticipate taking a team with a sub-.500 record. There are
too many teams out there with good records" so who knows who they
will ask this year.
