He thought he could jump to UCLA and hang with his uncle. Didn't
happen. He is going to run out of time if he doesn't play somewhere.
Maybe he's assessed the situation and while the coaches aren't
blameless, maybe DS thinks he really could
-get in shape
-try harder
-be a team player
-make a difference.
If he comes back, it he needs to be committed 100% to being the best
he can be. If so, and they'll have him back, then it's a smart thing
for him to get back into school and shake the voices in his head
("friends" and family who told him he was too good for Colorado, and
the bright lights were brighter elsewhere) and be his own man.
